Coast High School takes a fresh approach to teaching and learning. Coast High School is an innovative college prep alternative school of choice offering UC/CSU A-G and NCAA approved courses for student athletes. Our learning model provides maximum flexibility for students and incorporates a scientifically validated strengths-based educational philosophy and approach to teaching and learning that optimizes outcomes for all students. 

We invite students to become co-designers in their educational journey - from flexible scheduling to having the option to choose a 2 year college pathway, 4 year college pathway, or non-traditional post high school pathway uniquely tailored to their individual learning goals - we believe that developing student ownership throughout the learning process is an integral component when co-designing the educational lives of students with them.
